Fotografie“

tanzt zwischen Körperlandschaften, Dämmerungen,
Verformungen und entsteht zumeist auf der Basis filmischer Medien, wie dem
Super8film, Video und/oder auf der Grundlage von Diapositiven, wobei der
Künstler im minimalen Format des DIAs auch Farbe benutzt. Die Fotografie wird
in aller Regel im analogen Prozess herausgeschmolzen, um sie als
materialisiertes Einzelbild oder in der Kombination von Einzelfotos als
Bildkomposition zu präsentieren. Dabei
liegt der Reiz dieser filmfotografischen Arbeiten in der Anschauung wie in der
ästhetischen Reflektion des engen Geflechts zwischen filmischem und
fotographischem Medium.
Die
Werke wurde 2002 und 2004 in Pariser Galerien ausgestellt.
Präsentationsformate von 20 x 30 über 40 x 60 bis hin
zu 50 x 70 cm auf Hartgummi oder Holz.

Wahnfried’s
cinematic photography
is created for the most part on the
basis of cinematic media such as Super8 film or video, and/or on the basis of slide
positives with negatives, where the artist also applies paint directly onto the
minute slide itself, this photography shifts between twilights, disfigurations,
landscapes of flesh. To begin with, the photos are usually distilled from film
via an analogue process and presented as a single tangible image or a
composition of these. These cinephotographic works are both visually
intriguing and an incentive for reflection on the close relationship between
photography and film.
2002 & 2004 the works were presented by Paris Galeries in the
following sizes: 20x30, 40x60, 50x70; mounted on hard rubber or wood.
